Can taping after surgery ruin a revision rhinoplasty?

I don't think taping does anything at all. Tape sitting on your nose isn't putting pressure anywhere, and nobody has even proven that pressure would help if you were able to design a mechanism to apply that pressure.
I suppose it's *possible* that you've done damage by pushing and pulling on the skin of the nose. I tell my patients to leave it alone after surgery. But it's not very likely. What you're seeing is just the results of your surgery, with some early swelling. Maybe ask your surgeon if he's okay with discontinuing the taping.
