Hello, I had a FUE transplant 10 days ago. Everything has gone very well and almost all the scabs are gone. As I have been told, almost all the hairs will now fall off. My question is: Can I cut or trimm my hair anytime soon? Using either scissors or clippers? (I used to trimm my hair very short before the surgery, using clippers)
Answer: Hair Transplant Dear GeorgestockholmThanks for the question. Although you do want to protect your scalp from the sun after surgery, avoid wearing hats for the first couple weeks. You can get back into the routine of getting a haircut about three weeks after your surgery. If you dye your hair, you can do so again at the end of the first month. I wish you all the best.

Answer: Hair cut following FUE hair transplantation Hi George, once the scabs and hair have fallen off, the implanted hair bulbs should be secure and it is generally safe to get a hair cut at this point. I would confer with your hair transplant surgeon in case there may be any special circumstances that would preclude you from getting a buzz now.

Answer: Haircut after Transplant At this point now that the scabs are gone it's totally fine to get a haircut or trim down the hairs yourself. Always check in with your surgeon though in case there are specifics to your case that would require a longer waiting period. Good luck!
