If I didn't want to get SMP and wanted to shave in the future? I haven't heard about them, if not, what would be the problem associated with them if I just went to a tattoo artist to do it?

Your scar is likely already a similar color to the rest of your scalp, unless you had scar tissue and other issues during the healing process. If that is the case, I'm not sure a scar tattoo would help. You may be better suited for micro-needling and/or PRP therapy, which can break up scar tissue, and promote healing and hair growth on the scalp.

Answer: Tattoo artists are great at what they do. If you want to ask a tattoo artist to do work on your head then it is best to Tattoo artists are great at what they do. If you want a tattoo artist to do work on your head then it is best to find someone that will do it. SMP is not performed the way normal tattoo is performed.

Answer: SMP vs. Tattoo It depends on what you want to accomplish. SMP is a great choice when lack of hair create a contrast between the scar and the surrounding area. If your problem is discoloration of the scar medical tattoo to adjust color could also help.
