I got Restylane in my tearthrough area 4 month ago. First i filled with 0.5 than a month later another 0,5. The days after i notice swelling not where the filler was injected but under my eyes. Its now harder to cover the shadow it leaves under the bags and i dont know If i should have some dissolved. The clinic told me to wait it out couse hyalase can make the area look uneven. What should i do? The swelling is not big but i feel like i look worse and older:(
Answer: You are getting care with folks who don't know what they are doing. Don't live with a bad service. See someone who knows how to work with hyaluronidase. This product needs to be removed. It might be possible to simply adjust this fullness with a small enzyme treatment. The issue will persist for a long time without this adjustment. The enzyme will not wreck your skin. Please get the care you need.

Answer: Tear Trough Swelling After Filler Hi Sofiate. In most cases, when we hear this sort of story, it's usually less than good injection technique. Product can bunch, puff up or look swollen in this area especially when it is injected "over the muscle". Typically under eye injections are done "under the muscle" and into the fatty layer as this creates a smoother under eye appearance. Especially when a patient complains of prolonged puffiness or swelling under the eyes, the product is injected superficially and stays visible and bumpy over the muscle. The best way to correct is by dissolving it with Hyaluronidase. Best of luck.

Answer: Submitting a photograph would have been great. Submitting a photograph would have been great. You're describing something that I have seen over the last 20 years in many patients where whatever filler one uses in the tear trough area, the filler seems to move closer to the nose and becomes visible like a small bag. The filler has to be dissolved with Hyalase and if done very carefully over a matter of two to three treatments, the results can be rather even. Fat grafting is the only way to ensure an even, natural and long-lasting result in the tear trough area.

Answer: Restylane for tear troughs I'm sorry you didn't get the results you were looking for. Filler in the tear trough can last for years so this is not something that you should have to wait out or live with. It would be best to see a board certified injector for a face to face consultation. Hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve any unwanted filler as it sounds like your tear troughs may be over filled. Best of luck!
