I would like to know what experts think of Swiss IHDE dental implants. Permanent teeth being set on 8-12 implants after 3-5 days from extractions and getting implants. Are they reliable and long lasting? Thank you
Answer: IHDE Implant IHDE is mainly in basal implants and it is future because it is more patient friendly. but i m not recommending in yr case because still its not common in USA. implant is like a car , maintenance and care is must, so always go for brands which are available in yr area. nobel biocare is good brand.

Answer: Dental implants. Immediate load. Immediate final restoration. Dear Kiki: There are many implant companies worldwide. IHDE is just one of the companies. It IS NOT widely used in the US, and after over 20 years of teaching advanced implant surgery and restoration at NYU, this is the first time that I hear of this company. When I searched, I immediately come across websites of doctors in India, Hungary, etc. who perform the procedures you are describing with the IHDE implant. Setting provisionals (temporary) or final (permanent) teeth on implants the day of surgery or several days post surgery is nothing new. The technology and protocols have been around for well over 25 years, with one of the largest databases in the world, here at NYU. The type of implant is not that important, since at this point most reputable companies have a track record with these procedures. The problem with using implants which are not used locally, is maintenance. Many implant companies have screws which might be incompatible with commonly used tooling in the US and parts might not be available. In addition, in the US you have certain rights and recourse as a consumer, which you do not have abroad. If something happens... who do you turn to??? Any manufacturer of medical/dental equipment and any doctors must "jump" through many hoops in order to be used in the US and work in the US. Other countries do not have our stringent laws and as a consequence "not all implants are created equal" and neither do the doctors. My recommendation is that if you do want to travel and get work done outside the US, make sure that you go to a reputable dentist and ask if the work is done with implants that are commonly used here so that if there are problems a dentist here can help you. The best option is to go to a specialist, a prosthodontist, in the US, and in NY you have some of the "best of the best", and have it done here. Best wishes,
