Hi I am getting a breast lift with implants done I am trying to decide on 475 high profile or 500 moderate plus but I was wondering if there was a chance I could go a little bit bigger than 500 like maybe 550cc I would like to know what would my max be

With a combined breast lift and augmentation, going directly to 500–550 cc is generally not advisable in one stage, especially if significant lifting is required. When you lift and place a large implant at the same time, the skin and internal support are already under tension, and adding a heavy implant (475–550 cc) significantly increases the risk of wound healing issues, recurrent sagging, bottoming out, widened scars, and long-term instability. In most cases, to minimize complications and protect scar quality, the maximum safe volume in a single-stage lift-augmentation is often closer to the 350–400 cc range, depending on your tissue quality. If your goal is ultimately 450–500 cc or even larger, a safer strategy is staging the procedure: first performing a supportive push-up lift to properly reshape and reinforce the breast, allowing it to heal and stabilize for about 6 months, and then placing a larger implant once the tissues are stronger and better positioned. This staged approach dramatically lowers complication risk and provides a more stable long-term result compared to forcing a very large implant at the initial lift surgery.
