16 months ago, first rhinoplasty. At 1-week splint removal, it was discovered an internal stitch fell out, resulting in fluid pooling directly above the columellar incision. Doc has injected steroids (no help) & laser, which help, but bump always grows back. Over next 8 months, my columella began dropping, 2nd procedure to remove scar tissue and cartilage. I’m now 6 months after 2nd surgery, very little change. My columella is still hanging, is full of scar tissue, and is 2x thick as pre-op.
