Do I need vertical chin projection? (photos)

Question

I had a consultation with my doctor, he told me that I need about 7mm horizontal projection and about 2-3 mm vertical projection. I need a natural look and correct my deficit. Please let me know if his assessment is correct or not. I am opting for chin impants.

You are a good candidate for a genioplasty. This is a permanent procedure that allows us to pretty much put your chin in whatever position you like. By bringing it slightly forward and down, this would create more definition to your jawline and add balance to your profile, all without the need of an implant. Implants can be unpredictable and unreliable, which is why I always recommend doing research on a genioplasty first, before making an final decisions.
