How long will it take for an overload of Dysport in my forehead to loosen? It's been a week, am I stuck for months?

Any neurotoxin injection whether Dysport, Botox, or the other brand names, will typically take 3-4 months to wear off. Unfortunately, there may not be much to do in your current situation, however adding a small amount 1-2 Botox equivalent units to the side that is moving may increase your symmetry. 5 units of Dysport is a very small amount. It is not unusual for there to be some temporary heaviness or non-mobility of the eyebrow after a dysport treatment to the forehead. I find that this issue normally improves after a few weeks and does not usually last for months.

Unfortunately when you do not want a lift to the brow they whole glabella is injected which may feel very heavy for you. This should have been explained by the injector so that you may choose your results. It will go away but it may take 6 to 8 weeks. Make sure your seeing a Board Certified Physician/Injector.
