I had a breast lift over my existing saline implants about a year ago and am disappointed about how low they are how my clothes and bras fit. My Dr said they are just have a naturally low footprint and nothing can fix it. Would a higher profile implant help? Or maybe I should have them removed
Answer: Breast revision Thank you for the question. A combination of pocket revision, fat grafting and breast lift revision will improve the appearance of your breasts. I wish you the best of luck. Vasileios Vasilakis, MD. Double board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Houston. TX.

Answer: Extra full implants Hi from Istanbul! Higher profile implants can provide increased upper pole projection, giving the illusion of breasts sitting higher on the chest. While they won't alter the natural footprint of the breast on the chest wall, they can affect the perceived positioning. Alternatively, extra full implants from certain brands can offer a fuller appearance, potentially addressing your concerns. If you're considering a change, it might be worth exploring the option of replacing your saline implants with extra full ones. Hope this helps!

Answer: Breasts The actual base of your breasts, its footprint, cannot be moved, but a higher profile can give some additional upper breast fullness, especially when placed behind the muscle.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Your doctor is incorrect. The low footprint can be corrected using The Bellesoma Method. However, at this time, I recommend is explantation and lift then wait 6 months and consider fat transfers or repeat totally submuscular implants. The Bellesoma Method will remove the implants, reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift results Dear lacymcc, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
