I'm 5'2, 145lbs, age 32, non-smoker, no kids (have copper IUD). I was once 300+lbs and wore a 46 i cup (never caused me back problems). I've maintained at 145-150lbs for 1 1/2 yrs now. I know I need multiple surgeries in stages and don't care about scars. But significantly most important to me is a Breast Lift WITH implants. For the first time in my life I have ZERO volume. I'm now a very flat 36D (smaller than at age 11). I want to be a 38DD with volume. Can I combine these two surgeries?

Answer: Breasts Congratulations on your weight loss. No, please do not do the breast lift with implants because of the amount of skin removal that is needed with the lift. It will be much safer for your nipples and healing to do the lift first, and then have the implants. You don't want dead nipples and wounds opening.

Answer: Dear Dream2B Augmentation and lift (mastopexy) is a complex procedure. On the one hand, we aim to lift the nipples, areolas, and breast tissue and reduce skin excess. On the other, the implant's weight can strain the lifted tissue. In the presence of specific comorbidities, if the lift is substantial (it depends on the position of your nipples) or if the implant is too large, the risk of immediate and long term complications is higher. In those cases, augmentation and lift are often performed in 2 stages to minimise the risk of complications.Every case should be individualised. I would suggest that you discuss with your plastic surgeon, ask all the questions you have and weigh up the advantages and disadvantages of having one stage vs two-stage procedure. All the best
