Is $17k too expensive for a Breast Lift with Implants with Armpit Liposuction?

I went for a consultation recently with a board eligible (NOT yet certified) plastic surgeon who has been in our area for only a few months. She doesn't have much competition in the area. Her and her staff were great. But, she quoted a breast lift with small saline implants and minimal lipo to the armpits at $17k... I've heard of people driving only 45 minutes east and only paying around $5k for the same thing. Is that normal for someone not certified and with no portfolio?

Most patients are very happy with their outcome after surgery with implants. Doing a concurrent lift does mean some of your tissue will be removed to accomplish the lift. Going with a slightly larger size can help balance that out.

I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with your outcome. 3 months is the absolute earliest I would do a revision. I believe it is better to wait 6 months for everything to totally soften before trying again.
