Does the Botox come out while I sweat?

I would recommend waiting for 1-2 weeks after your treatment to assess the final results.  Botox typically does not come out with sweating.  I do, however, recommend to my patients to hold for 24 hours any activities that may make you sweat or hot such as exercise, saunas, hot baths, alcohol.

Thank you for your question. Botox is not excreted in sweat. It is possible for the Botox to move to different areas. Precautions such as, no laying down for 3 hours after treatment are advised to stop the movement of Botox into a muscle it is not intended for. Wait an entire 2 weeks for the Botox to settle. Have a wonderful day.

This sounds like it's your first time at the rodeo.I would suggest you relax and wait a few days to see what the effects of the Botox are.The simple answer is that you cannot sweat Botox out nor shorten its effective time with sweating.I get Botox myself and understand the "heavy" feeling you are experiencing.  You'll get used to it and I hope you like the results.

Botox works quickly and actually then disappears and the rest is due to its action. You will not sweat it out and there is no need to try to get it out or decrease it because it is not really there--only its effects are

Thanks for your question, Keith.  The short answer is, no, Botox will not be excreted in your sweat.  There is no way to "kill" the Botox effect quicker.  Without an in person evaluation one cannot know if the Botox has spread or if your eyebrows will drop.  I recommend that you keep calm and don't panic.  The best course of action is to either see or speak with your physician injector so they can help you with your fears and concerns. Most well trained and experienced physician injectors would want to know about your worries.  Best of luck to you.

The answer is no.  Botox acts by binding to the receptors that receive signals from nerves.  Over time(3-6 months), Botox is broken down by your body and you return to your "pre-Cinderella" state. But once Botox is set (no heavy exercise for 4-6 hours after injection), feel free to work up a sweat.

Hello Keithbenefit,Based on your line of questions you seem to be concerned about your Botox treatment.  I would certainly recommend you follow up with your injector to get a complete answer.  To try to answer your questions Botox does not come out when you sweat.  If you were exercising the first day of treatment the increased blood flow to the face could have spread the Botox but beyond the first day I let my patients do whatever they like.  When properly injected and when patients follow the recommendations afterwards the eye brows should not drop.  You will see your final result in about 7-10 days after injection so if it hasn't occurred by then you should be fine.  Botox lasts for about 3 months.  I have never seen any scientific paper showing ways to get rid of Botox faster (some anecdotes say trying to exercise the muscles may help).  I tell my patients once they are past the first day they can do whatever they want including sun and heat.  I hope this helps and good luck.
