I had juvederm in the upper cheek and tear trough area 3 days ago and this looks great though my eyes in the under eye area feel a bit heavy at times. I also botox in my forehead. I have a headache much of the time and feel tired - not sure if I have a cold or if this is a normal reaction? L

Answer: Botox side effects In the original clinical trials some of the patients in the Botox group did have headaches for a few days compared to the control group/ also rarely did a few patients have flu like symptoms for up to a week

Answer: Headache after Botox Hello Dancingbirds,On the day of the injection and for a few days after it is not common but some patients will have a little bit of a headache from the needle insertions. This is more common if the needle was inserted all the way to the bone (and you heard or felt a crunching sound). In very rare instances, severe headaches have been documented but this would not be subtle for you and Botox is actually approved to treat headaches. In either situation, it should not make you feel unwell. I think it is more coincidental but you should follow up with your injector for a more personal evaluation. I hope this helps and good luck.
