How long does it take to rebuild Masseter Muscle after Botox?

You had a very strong does of Botox injected in the masseters.  It may take a good six months for that to wear off completely.  With time, they should return to where they were before you did the Botox.  I would also recommend that you take pictures every month.  As it starts to wear off, you may find that you like a certain look.  If this is the case, then you can definitely afford to go lighter on the does next time.

Thanks for your question.  Botox in this area lasts for longer than when used to treat facial lines.  It has been reported to last anywhere from 6-9 months.  Once it wears off, your muscle will slowly revert back to its pre-treatment appearance. So no need to worry!  Best of luck to you.

I am not certain if you had Botox to taper the face or TMJ or what but it will take about 6 months for the effect to be reversed

On average, it lasts 3-6 months in this area.  If it is persistent or you area worried, I recommend following up with your injector.  However, over time your muscle should return to it's pre-injection appearance.

Hello Abreen1991,Botox can be used for severe TMJ.  The way Botox works is it weakens the muscle.  For TMJ this helps to ease the stress being placed on your TMJ.  To answer your question about how long this will last since you aren't happy, on average it lasts for about 3 months.  Some patients will say the result lasts up to 6 months but this is not common.  I hope this helps and good luck.
