Answer: Should I Take Appetite Suppressing Medication 2 Weeks After A Mommy Makeover? I don't know you personally but I am happy to give you some general comments from my years of experience in doing Mommy Makeovers.Almost all patients having a Mommy Makeover feel that a big part of their problem is having too much fat. The Mommy Makeover often removes some fat directly, and the removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen as well as tightening the rectus muscles lead to a great deal of thinning. Secondly, one's lymphatic system is often overloaded by excess retained fluid, and therefore swelling post an aggressive 8-10 hour surgery rarely completely goes away by 2 weeks. Therefore, the combination of concern for being fat plus post surgical fluid retention leads one to think that they are getting fatter. At 2 weeks post surgery, your body in a hyper metabolic state trying to heal the many wounds created during your aesthetic surgery. The calories that you are taking in at this point are necessary for wound healing, ergo please don't decrease your necessary food intake without speaking with your plastic surgeon.

Answer: Duromine after tummy tuck Ask your surgeon about adding additional medications. Do not be concerned about adding weight 2 weeks after a tummy tuck. You will have a lot of swelling for 6-12 weeks after surgery and this additional water weight will make you weight more than you actually do. Best of luck

Answer: Dr Derby It is always best to discuss with your surgeon. He can tell you what you can or cannot take after the procedure. Maybe he even has a good recommendation for you how to control your appetite better , but it is very important not to use anything before your surgeon gives you the green light to do so.Best of luck
