hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question you are not good candidate just liposuction . yo need mommy makeover.my recommendation its get a consultation in personal with a plastic surgeon.
The answer is yes when this procedure is performed safely awake but relaxed. I have performed thousands of these procedures in this manner and it’s wonderful.
BMI is just one measure of your fitness for surgery. In my practice I look for a BMI approximating 30 to lessen the risks of complications during and after surgery and to enhance the results of the procedures. It is best to be within 10 pounds of your weight goal for three months prior to the BBL.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
A good candidate has enough fat available for transfer in the procedure. The amount of fat that can be transferred in a BBL depends on how much fat the patient has to harvest and the amount of space there is to move the fat into. It is recommended for the patient to have a BMI of 30 or less.
Hello mahlako,It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! It is possible to get a high volume VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) surgery with your current Body Mass Index (BMI) estimate. Many of my full-figured patients who desire flat abs and a fuller, beautifully rounded backside opt for BBL surgery, and get amazing results. Based on your pictures and description, I would recommend you two different surgical plans: 1) undergoing a weight loss program until you reach a Body Mass Index (BMI) estimate equal or less than 30, and then having a traditional abdominoplasty (full tummy tuck) done, followed by a VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL) procedure, six months afterwards; or 2) a staged procedure consisting of a large volume High-Definition VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks done first, followed by an abdominoplasty, 6 months after you’ve fully recover from BBL. Your current BMI estimate of 43 surpasses the recommended range for a safe and successful tummy tuck procedure and recovery. For procedures that involve long incisions, such as abdominoplasty, it is ideal to achieve a BMI of less than 30 to minimize your risks of complications, such as wound dehiscence and infection. Set up an in-person consultation with an experience plastic surgeon to assess your candidacy for abdominoplasty and/or VASER Liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks based on your age, presence of skin laxity and stretch marks, BMI and health status, among other factors. With appreciation, Dr. De La Cruz.
Thank you for your question. Your safety is of utmost importance to us. We never want to do anything that might jeopardize our patient's health. Unfortunately, with a BMI 43, makes you ineligible for cosmetic surgery at this time. High BMI poses high surgical risk and reduces the likelihood you will receive optimal cosmetic results. If you have been unable to reach your goal weight with diet and exercise we recommend you a Board Certified Bariatric Surgeon. This option might be the best next step for you in terms of getting your body ready for cosmetic surgery in the future.
Thank you for your question. Based on your photos you will achieve better results with tummy tuck to correct the sagging skin excess and fat tissue, getting a flat and stronger abdomen with a liposuction and Dominican butt lift transferring the fat that we get to your butt molding and improving your gluteal volume and projection. For safety reasons, to be a good candidate for the procedures you want at the same time, your labs and cardiovascular preoperative evaluation must be optimal. Therefore, you must be a healthy person, within an appropriate BMI, for this reason I recommend you to loose weight before get this procedure done.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.
Thank you so much for your question and for sharing your picture with us. Based on your pictures and the information provided you're not a good cadidate to have just Liposuction. To have surgery you will need to have a BMI under 33 to avoid risk and complications. I recommend you to visit a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you with your doubts and concerns.
The recommended BMI prior to an elective surgery is less than 30 for health and safety reasons. So I would recommend losing some weight first to lower your BMI and reduce the rate of complications.
