Hello CHANG77,It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Plastic surgeons have different pre-operative requirements, customized for every patient to achieve the best results. I typically recommend my patients obtaining a medical clearance from their primary care physician (or cardiologist for age >45) prior to Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery. Most likely, your plastic surgeon can refer you to a cardiologist. Safety is of utmost importance when undergoing a BBL procedure. Depending on your lab tests outcome, your plastic surgeon will determine whether the procedure can be performed. Best wishes! Dr. De La Cruz.
If your PS is requiring cardiac clearance, his/her patient coordinator or your PCP should be able to refer you to a cardiologist.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Apetamin has an anti-histamine in it. Although it’s relatively safe by itself, having any additional medications in your system during a long operation with general anesthesia is not recommended. Safety first! Best of luck.
Although the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, this procedure can be extraordinarily painful for the patient. You want the most dramatic transformation possible, and you do not want to be in pain. If you want to achieve a maximal result, I would recommend general anesthesia w...
