I read about Aveli, cellfina, qwo, etc. They are all recommended for the butt and back of thighs. This is quite saddening as I have it in my inner thighs and front thighs. Can anything be done?

There some options that help treat cellulite, and of those options, some are better than others. Ultrasound, lasers and various injections (like Qwo) and now Aveli have all been used to address cellulite. Qwo has been used with good results, however was recently pulled off the market for prolonged bruising. Aveli is also a newer technology and technique that uses a special instrument to mechanically disrupt the fibrous septa that cause cellulite. Aveli does not require any fancy machines. The added benefit of the Aveli procedure is that you can verify all the septa causing cellulite are addressed as the procedure is being performed and before the procedure is finished. The procedure is done under local anesthesia in the office as an outpatient procedure (although it can be combined with bigger surgeries in the operating room).

Answer: Are there any cellulite treatments for the inner and front thighs? This may not be cellulite on the front of your thighs. It is likely just aging skin which can look like cellulite. This can occur with weight loss but also natural aging. As collagen and elastin is declining with age the turgor of our skin goes down leaving laxity. If you pull your skin upward and this smooths out, you will have a better idea if this is just aging skin. Depending on the severity Renuvion may be an option or you may have to consider skin excision such as a thigh lift.
