Yes, you can sit after Aveli treatment on the buttocks, including activities like driving home or using the bathroom. However, for the first 1–2 weeks, it’s best to limit prolonged sitting to avoid putting too much pressure on the treated area. While sitting briefly is fine, extended periods—such as working at a desk or lounging on the couch—should be done with care. Use soft cushions, avoid hard surfaces, and shift your weight frequently to reduce pressure. Lying on your stomach or side when resting is also a good way to protect your results. Too much pressure too soon can increase swelling, bruising, or interfere with healing, which might slightly affect your outcome. Some patients find it helpful to use a BBL pillow or donut cushion for added comfort and support. Always follow your provider’s specific aftercare instructions.
Thank you for your question. After Aveli treatment, sitting is perfectly fine and will not impact your results; however, some discomfort is normal during the first few days. Many of our patients find that using a donut-shaped pillow can help make sitting more comfortable during this recovery period.
Aveli is a minimally, invasive procedure that correct cellulite by dividing the small documents that hold the skin down to the deeper tissues, causing contour guar. It is a very safe and effective way to address cellulite. Aveli has almost no downtime downtime. My patients drive themselves home, work the next day, and there is no sitting restriction. Sitting restrictions are more common with procedures where fat is placed in the buttocks, such as a BBL where you don’t want any of the fat to be moved around or have pressure placed on it. Aveli is performed superficial to the fact, just underneath the skin and it does not rearrange that. It is strictly releases the dermal ligaments.
Aveli is a minimally invasive treatment for cellulite. It disrupts fibrous bands that tether the skin and cause cellulite dimpling. Its unique guiding handpiece allows it to be selective at just cutting the isolated fibrous bands. Sitting a normal amount after the procedure should not affect its long term results. We recommend wearing compression for a month after the procedure to ensure the tissue heals evenly and in the proper place.
You will bruise as a result of this procedure but it is short lived. We add Alastin Reform and Repair to the service so the client can massage the treated areas. We recommend a contour garment for the buttocks like Spanks. You can also go for lymphatic massage. There will be no discomfort post procedure. It is probably better to do it in the fall or winter for obvious reasons. Thank you. Hope this helps. JB
Post-op from an Aveli procedure, you will be sore and you can expect bruising. You are able to sit after an Aveli procedure but expect to wear compressions for two weeks following the procedure.
This is a good question. Sitting after an Aveli procedure will not mess up your results. It may be uncomfortable to sit on the area that had the procedure done, but it will not affect the overall short or long term results.
Immediately after the procedure you may resume normal activities. It is recommended to avoid vigorous lower body exercise for 2 weeks. Patients have reported moderate discomfort when sitting on the treated areas for about 3 days and minimal discomfort for up to two weeks. You may return to work, walk and sit normally following the procedure.
There are no restrictions for pressure to the buttocks/posterior thighs after aveli. The treated areas may be tender, so sitting may not be the most comfortable once local anesthesia wears off.
Yes, you will be able to sit for longer stretches of time after your treatment with no impact on your results. You may have some minor discomfort for a few days. It is recommended that you avoid heavy exercise for a week or so after your treatment. Your surgeon will go over all post treatment instructions with you.
Cellulite occurs from teenage years and up. Aveli is effective no matter what age. At 35 years old with minimal skin laxity you are an exellent candidate for aveli. We usually see women in their 30 to 60s for the one time treatment. We recommend coming in for a free consult to see if this...
HI there. I understand your concern. Aveli is typically done by first administering a generous amount of local pain medication into the area. The injection of this medication may cause a bit of "pinchy" or burning sensation initially, but after adequate time to set in, the rest of the...
Results will be seen over several months as the bruising and swelling goes away. Wearing a compression garment for several weeks helps a lot as well as lymphatic massages. Hope this is helpful. JB
