Can I get that snatched waist look with lipo? Will it do anything for my stretch marks? (Photo)

Im 5'4" 30 Female 160 lbs which is the heaviest I've ever been. Perks of birth control and aging. I've hated my stomach since having my son 7 years ago. I've always had a little pouch and the stretch marks are horrible. The pictures make me look bigger than I am. Will just lipo sculpture give me good results or do I need a tuck? Measurements are 34" at smallest part of waste and hips are 42". Will anything help the stretch marks?

Liposuction will not solve your problem. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

Thank you for your question.  Looking at your photo that you have provided your a great candidate for a tummy tuck.  This will allow your surgeon to tighten up your abdominal wall muscles remove the extra skin and deliver the flattest belly one can give.  Liposuction I think will leave you with extra skin. I don't think you would be happy with the results after liposuction.  I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Based on my evaluation of your photos, it appears that you have both excess skin and excess fat. While liposuction can be effective in reducing excess fat, it may leave behind significant amounts of excess skin. If you are open to undergoing two separate procedures, I would recommend first undergoing liposuction, followed by a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty with muscle plication. Alternatively, if you prefer to undergo just one procedure, a tummy tuck with muscle plication and liposuction of the flanks may be a more suitable option for achieving your desired hourglass figure. While liposuction does an excellent job at removing excess fat in the body, you will be left with excess skin. With this in mind, I recommend an abdominoplasty to give you the best overall aesthetic. An abdominoplasty will be able to remove the excess tissue between the umbilicus and the pubic region, create a more youthful umbilicus, and repair your rectus muscles that may have separated during child bearing. This will leave you with a flatter, smoother contour to the abdomen. I also tend to liposuction the flanks in order to provide an hour glass figure. I recommend speaking a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

Based on these photos, it looks that best option would be abdominoplasty with liposuction of torso (abdomen, flanks, lower back. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. Liposuction is able to take care of a lot of the excess abdominal fat In the abdomen, but will not address stretch marks or the abdominal musculature.If you have a separation in your abdominal muscles, repair of this would require abdominoplasty. Abdominoplasty would remove some stretch marks in the lower part of your abdomen but it is not 100% certain that all of the stretch marks in your abdomen would be removed, A combination of liposuction and abdominoplasty would help you achieve the best results by contouring your abdomen and removing excess fat and also removing excess skin
