Liposuction will not solve your problem. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

This will allow your surgeon to tighten up your abdominal wall muscles remove the extra skin and deliver the flattest belly one can give. Liposuction I think will leave you with extra skin. I don't think you would be happy with the results after liposuction. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.

While liposuction does an excellent job at removing excess fat in the body, you will be left with excess skin. With this in mind, I recommend an abdominoplasty to give you the best overall aesthetic. An abdominoplasty will be able to remove the excess tissue between the umbilicus and the pubic region, create a more youthful umbilicus, and repair your rectus muscles that may have separated during child bearing. This will leave you with a flatter, smoother contour to the abdomen. I also tend to liposuction the flanks in order to provide an hour glass figure. I recommend speaking a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
