Thank you for your question. Based on your picture you appear to be good candidate for this procedure and to improve the skin quality I recommend you the skin tightening treatment. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Whenever liposuction is performed, fat is removed which can cause loose skin. We typically remedy this by following lipo with Renuvion J Plasma in order to ensure that the skin is tightened through internal heating. Additionally, if there is an excess of skin laxity that cannot be sufficiently solved with Renuvion, we sometimes perform what is known as a spiral thigh lift. This removes skin in a strategic fashion so that the incision is well-hidden while providing excellent skin tightening and firmness.
Hello! When you receive Lipo it is always a possibility you can have excess skin. In your case, from what I can see in the photo I think the lipo will be great for you! Consult with your surgeon to see what plan they come up with for you. Best of Luck!Dr. Julia Spears MD
It seems you have good quality skin that should contract slightly after liposuction procedure. In a patient who is slightly older, with a lot more fat and poor quality skin they can be left with Some skin excess, but I do not think that that would happen in you
Thank you for your question. Looking at your photo I think your a great candidate for liposuction for the thighs. I don't believe you will have an issue with loose skin. I would suggest speaking to a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person to evaluate you and discuss your options. Best of luck to you.
Dear simiku,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photo, it looks like you would benefit from liposuction. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Providing that you do not have very aggressive liposuction of thighs, in particular medial, your skin will retract without visible laxity. However, only on the basis of in person evaluation, an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon with experience in liposuction, could give you a more accurate estimate. Good luck.
Hello,In my experience, patients who are most at risk for loose skin after liposuction are patients with less than ideal skin quality pre operatively. This may be due to age, previous significant weight loss, genetic skin disorders, chronic sun or cigarette smoke skin damage, as well as previous surgeries in the area. Significant stretch marks may be an external clue; however, physical exam is the best way to tell. Very aggressive liposuction can also “empty out” the fat and without skin tightening this may exacerbate loose skin. You appear to have youthful and very good skin quality based on your photographs and are likely less at risk for loose skin based on the above reasons. I encourage you to ask this important question to your board certified plastic surgeon during your consultation!
You seem to have good skin quality, so liposuction should be a good solution for you. If you over-suction the area or if you do not wear proper compression, there is still a chance of loose skin. So choose your surgeon carefully and follow all post op guidelines. Good luck
Liposuction can result in skin laxity if too much fat is removed. The results will be influenced by your skin's elasticity as well. The outer thighs typically have a lower risk of loose skin than the inner thighs. There are options available to tighten skin such as JPlasma and BodyTite. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to discuss your goals for treatment and learn about the risks and benefits.
You should be able to take the vaccine from 4-6 weeks after surgery since most of the swelling will be gone. Or, you could have the vaccine placed in an area not treated.

That is probably muscle and not fat. Please do not try liposuction in that area or you may damage your lip. Low dose of Botox might improve the area.
