In my opinion, smoking marijuana after a Bellafill treatment should not affect your results. Bellafill treatment normally does require several injection sessions spaced over time to produce gradual results.
I have not seen any studies or information that this can affect the results. I would recommend not smoking weed (if allowable by state law in your area) or nicotine for at least 2 weeks to be on the safe side while the body is reacting to the filler. I would ask your treating dermatologist how they feel before smoking any substance (if legal), different physicians have different feelings toward smoking when it comes to affecting fillers.
Using marijuana (smoking weed) two days after receiving Bellafill injections is unlikely to directly hinder your desired results. Bellafill is a dermal filler primarily composed of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres suspended in a collagen gel. Its effectiveness and longevity are not typically affected by the use of marijuana. However, it's essential to keep in mind that smoking marijuana, like any form of smoking, can have potential effects on the skin and overall health. Smoking can decrease blood flow to the skin, which may affect the healing process after any cosmetic procedure, including dermal filler injections. Additionally, smoking can contribute to premature aging of the skin and may impact collagen production over time.If you have concerns about the effects of smoking marijuana on your skin or the results of your Bellafill treatment, it's best to discuss them with your healthcare provider who administered the injections. They can provide guidance and recommendations based on your individual situation and medical history. In general, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including avoiding smoking and following proper skincare practices, can help optimize the results of cosmetic procedures like Bellafill injections and promote overall skin health.
There is no interaction of weed with Bellafill. The normal collagen formation is not affected. If you smoked cigarettes, the collagen response will be "blunted" because nicotine decreases the blood flow to the skin.
Hello!! I am not aware of any clinical trials or studies of the effect of marijuana use after bellafill. I have not heard of any adverse effects either and have treated patients who smoke cigarettes with no adverse effects. Check with your provider as there are no studies to prove either way. Best of Luck!
While there are no studies to truly say one way or the other, I have treated a number of patients with Bellafill who regularly smoke cigarettes and or marijuana without any adverse problems from their Bellafill injections. I hope that helps.Best regards
I actually do this quite frequently and am in the midst of writing a paper about my experience. Depending on age, it can require 2-8 syringes. It usually requires multiple sessions if you use more than 3 or 4. It is a great long lasting filler for this area. I use cannulas for safest and best...
I guess the correction worked! Of course it is fine to take Viagra anytime during the course of Bellafill treatments. There is no effect on results.
A combination approach will give the most improvement. These types of scars need a combination of fillers with lasers, microneedling/prp, Cosmelan, and subcision. It will take a series of treatments and will need some treatments to maintain. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne s...
