I'm 5 months post from my breast lift with augmentation. I still feel sharp quick pain and experience numbing and tingly sensations especially at night. I sleep on my stomach a lot could this contribute to this?

Answer: 5 months post op Thanks for the question. At this point of your post op the swelling has to be minimal. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling. Kind regards

Answer: Sensory issues after surgery It is fairly common for patients to have so me sensory issues initially after surgery. As the swelling subsides and the breasts heal, usually sensory issues improve.
