Skin still hasn't redraped over my new nose 2 years post op. Is there anything I can do to help this? (Photo)

I have had 4 rhinoplastys. I understand that there is an expected longer healing time. However I still have loose skin on my nose. My nose is squidgy and you can move the skin. When I pull the excess skin, from front view you can see a difference in the width. It is wide from front view from the extra skin. Would a skin tightening treatment help, such as radiofrequency? It also still swells up, especially after sleeping. I have found that taping it at night helps with this.Thank you

Thank you for your question. It is possible to make your nasal tip slimmer and more projected, and it is recommended for you to achieve a beautiful nose tip shape. Cartilage graft is required for this. Alar base reduction might also be considered, but further examination will be needed to decide.

Hi @DreamCatcher19. Piezosurgery is a more gentle technique that allows for greater precision. Less bruising and swelling is common with Piezosurgery. In a typical rhinoplasty, a hammer and chisel technique is performed leading to more inadvertent fractures. Best of luck, Dr. Nima
