On my wits end. After PS put on Micropo tape on incision area it started to itchy like crazy with small red bumps round it. PS told me to take the tape off which I did and it seemed to settle the itchiness. Then a week later, the rash spread it’s all across my breast fold and bright red. PS told me to see a doctor which I did yesterday, got steroid ointment and it seemed to spread the rash even more. Can someone please share opinion?

Thank you for your inquiry and I understand your concern. Not all surgeons require patients to stop taking birth control pills before a breast augmentation. If that is a protocol your surgeon follows, it is definitely worth asking whether the NUVARING would be a problem during your procedure....
