It’s the day after my BA. We are visiting from out of town and spent about 3-4 hours walking around a mall. I rested when needed and took breaks . I did use my arms at times, mostly just to look through racks of clothes and open doors occasionally. My breasts feel a little bit warm to the touch now. Is this my body healing? Is it possible I overdid it and affected something?

The warmth of the breast I would recommend you contact your surgeon and just bring it to his or her attention and follow their instructions. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Is it okay to walk around a mall a day after a BA? Thanks for your question. It should not be a major issue and gentle walking can be a good thing. Take your time, listen to your body and rest when you need to. If you are feeling a little extra swelling it is likely related to what you have done. Make sure the breasts are relatively symmetrical and they are not tight and firm. If they are discuss with your surgeon. RegardsDr Guy Watts
