What size breast augmentation for broad shoulders? (Photo)

Question

I want a natural/ larger size . I'm thinking 400cc. I don't want a lot of side boob because I have broad shoulders and I feel like that would make it look wider. I like a little bit of sag because it looks more natural in my opinion. I don't want very perky. And not a lot of space in between. What size would fit my body type best without looking more wide ?

Selecting the most appropriate breast implant size for breast augmentation is a personal decision that ultimately you have to make. An in-person consultation with implant sizing is best.

It depends on your height, weight and breast base width diameter. To know what might be right for you, see two or more experienced, board-certified Plastic Surgeons for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have breast implant surgery.

Hello, thank you for your question. Sounds like you are leaning towards a moderate profile implant which have the look you described not very perky and more pendulous which is more natural to the breast shape is. You are a poor candidate for breast augmentation. Your breasts are too low on the chest wall and adding 450 cc's implants will make the situation worse. You need a breast lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants, and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. There is no question that breast augmentation will create nice improvement. In average, 400 ml implant would result in, approximatelly, 1.5-2 cup sizes enlargement. Hope this helps. Good luck.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Hello! You will need to be sized by a board certified plastic surgeon. Implant size choices take into consideration your chest width and fullness goals. I size with implants in a bra, implants that match what you would be augmented with. Some surgeons do computer simulation. Choosing the best size is not as simple as choosing a volume. And it does not look as though you would require a lift.

Breast implant sizing is usually based upon measurements of the width of your chest as well how large she would like to be. If an implant that is too large for how wide your natural breast is, he can look unnatural. The same goes for an implant that is too small for the width of your chest. And in person consultation is best to tease out what implant size would be right for you. Exact volume of the implant, to me, is less important than matching your desired look.
