Thank you for your question. Determining implant size depends on a few different things. Nipple to crease distance, how much natural breast tissue you have and width of the breast are just a few things that have to be discussed. I would recommend speaking with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to see if they offer 3D imaging which will help determine and show you what you can look like in certain sizes. Hello, thank you for your question. Sizing is one of the more indecisive things to review when it comes to implants. So take your time and see if you can talk to your plastic surgeon about what you want. Bring in wish pics of someone with a similar chest frame like yours and you can even try the rice bag test to have an idea of cup size. Feel free to check our website for some fun before and afters.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

It is hard to know exactly what size You would need based on height alone. All women have different widths and heights to their chest wall and desires for breast shape. Some woman have breasts that sit lower on her chest naturally than others The exact volume of the implant is less important than finding the implant that fits your desired look.

Size is best determined after an examination and measurements. Your surgeon who has examined you is the best one now to tell you the range you should have.

There are too many variables in the decision-making process to simply anterior question. A full consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is necessary and recommended. The breast measurements will help determine the range of implants that would be very pleasing overall, and then adjustments are made in terms of projection, pocket location, etc. in order to match up the surgical plans with your goals.

Implant selection is best done in person with your board certified plastic surgeon. After measuring your breasts and discussing your goals for surgery the appropriate implant can be selected.
