If I consider a revision, does the method have to be sliced & stacked (rib rhinoplasty)?

I had rib rhinoplasty and the method used was sliced and stacked. I was told if I want to lower my nose bridge, I don’t need to harvest rib cartilage again as the cartilage in my nose will be sufficient. But if I consider a revision, does the method have to be sliced and stacked?
