Would ear or rib cartilage deliver longer lasting results for nose tip?

I heard that using ear cartilage will cause the tip to droop after a few years. Between ear and rib cartilage, which will produce longer lasting results?

Every surgeon will tell you something different. Go on some consults with surgeons who have a lot of experience with Asian rhinoplasty rather than try to figure it out on your own. Some surgeons you frozen cartilage grafts from a tissue bank with excellent results. Many options.

Hello! Great question. In Asian rhinoplasty, the tip often needs strong support so it can be projected thus creating improved narrowness and harmony with the face. Ear cartilage works for some forms of grafting but not the tip in this case. Rib cartilage is incredibly strong and if carved and supported properly, the risk of curvature is low. Hope this helps!
