Clicking sound after getting hit 3 years post Rhinoplasty - will this get better?

Hello! I've had rhinoplasty 3 years ago. Gore-tex. I've been doing boxing with head gear on recently and have been hit in the nose. There's a little discomfort and I hear a bit of clicking sound, but I'm assuming it's not that big of a deal since I've read that your nose is almost as good as pre-operation after healing. My question is, will my nose get used to getting hit and develop strength overtime or is it permanently compromised after rhinoplasty procedure?
