Hello Doctor, I have had a surgery at 16 to remove the excess fat in my chest area. Even after the removal i have considerably a puffy chest. Its been close to ten years now, Currently due to personal reasons I do not want to have a surgery immediately. So in this case can the so called pills and creams along with chest exercises like push ups can show any slight difference ?(say 25% lesser size). And do these pills have any impact in case i do surgery at a later point of time maybe next year ?

No OTC medicine reduces breast size in Men !  Stay away from supplements that claim that they can do this- it is a scam. If it worked it would have been tested and FDA approved for this usage. The only medicine that might work for Gynecomastia would be for male breast enlargement caused by an endocrine disorder. You would need to see an endocrinologist for a work up if this involves you - tyically this would occur in late childhood/adolescence but could occur later (from a Pituitary tumor producing prolactin - a hormone that makes breasts enlarge for example)

In general, nonsurgical treatments for gynecomastia are not recommended because they just do not work.  Now, you may be able to change the contour of your chest yourself through exercise and weight changes, but this works by  changing the amount of muscle or fat around the breast and may camouflage the amount of breast tissue that you may still have.
