I did an FUE of 2500 grafts 1 year 2 months back. 13 days ago, I did another FUE of 1500 grafts to add density to the frontal area. I am not sure if my donor areas are depleted.
Answer: Donor Area Depletion Your donor area will always look "thinner" proportionate to the number of hairs taken out after a FUE harvesting surgery. The hairs will NOT grow back from the donor area (where it was taken). You can have your surgeon exam the area to see if it is depleted.

Answer: Donor Depletion 4000 FUE grafts will result in some degree of donor depletion. This will be more noticeable with short hair. My advice is to give the donor hair a little length, and the donor area will look much better.

Answer: Donor area depletion Hi! harvesting of 4000 FUE grafts from the donor area is indeed quite a lot. The cosmetic outcome will probably be much better once your remaining hair in the donor area grows out. you can consider some medical treatment with minoxidil 5% also

Answer: Donor depletion From the pictures it looks like a bigger punch was used and that is why the area looks noticeably thinner. There is a option for you called Micropigmentation that could camouflage the area and give the illusion that there is more hair in the donor area.

Answer: Donor area A total of 4000 FUE should be just within your maximum limit before depletion occurs. However, it depends on the skill of the surgeon in spreading out the excision sites.
