Answer: Asian FUE Asian hair normally has a lower density in the donor area than Caucasion hair, so 2000 grafts need to carefully spaced out to avoid over-harvesting. Make sure you have an evaluation with a physician who has experience with Asian hair to prevent over-harvesting.

Answer: 2000 unit FUE in Asian Male This is a very good question in that any light colored scars will contrast greatly with dark hair. The good news is that over 50% of the donor hairs can be safely removed from your scalp without it becoming noticeable, as long as the extraction is performed by a skilled technician. I have seen many patients (regardless of ethnicity) who had FUE perfromed elsewhere with clear bald patches because the technician was experienced or careful enough. We pride ourselves on never over-extracting our patients. Consult with an experienced, board certified surgeon.

Answer: Extracting 2000 FUE grafts It depends on where and how the grafts are excised. Look at good quality before and after photos when you know the number of grafts taken & from which areas of the scalp.

Answer: Donor site depletion This is entirely dependent on your donor area density. For many, this number is not a problem. For others, it can be noticeable. You are not going to find the answer over the internet and thus an in-person consultation with an experienced hair transplantation surgeon is necessary. Good luck to you.
