I am 1 week post FUE and healing has gone really well. Due to a separate issue I have been told by my GP to take 300mg of aspirin every day for the next two weeks, reducing to 75mg for a couple of weeks after. My FUE surgeon has indicated that this may not be good for the transplanted hair, which is really bothering me! Are there any other opinions on the affects of aspirin on newly transplanted hair?

Answer: Specific medical treatment issues should be discussed with your doctor especially if you are not sure how to use the medication.
If you are considering surgery it would be best to discuss your options with a doctor. The doctor needs to examine you to give you a better assessment.
It is best to contact your surgeon for post surgery issues and care since all doctors have slightly different instructions. It will take about 6 months to see how your scar transforms. Some doctors may advocate early steroid injections.
