Thank you for your question. This would depend on how far the migration of the silicone particles has gone. The silicone will not be eliminated in excrement over a matter of months or years. If the silicone is into the tissue, it can migrate into the lymphatics, and to various places. This will not be excreted quickly. This level of migration is rare, and more common in those who have neglected to see a physician when symptoms first occurred, or did not have mammograms. I hope this helps.
I know of no report or incident of silicone being excreted in any body fluid. It is possible for microscopic particles to migrate to the associated lymph nodes.
The silicone form breast implants will stay locally in the capsule or surrounded by local tissue if an implant ruptures. I do not know of any studies showing that it gets excreted in any way.
There was a case report of a patient with silicone implants, I think they were calf implants, who coughed up silicone. I find it hard to believe but I know one of the authors (James SE, Tarr G, Butterworth MS, et al. Silicone in the sputum after rupture of a calf implant. J R Soc Med 2001;94:133-134.). The silicone can migrate, but it usually migrates locally in the breast tissue and sometimes to the lymph nodes. I find it hard to imagine how the silicone could migrate to your bowel, but it would be worth investigating. I recommend that you see your doctor and see if you can get a stool specimen analysed to see if there is silicone that is the same as the silicone in your implant.
The answer to your question will depend on exactly what type of blood work was ordered. What type of blood work was ordered (if any) will depend on your medical history and the specific plastic surgeon's preferences. Best to check with the laboratory where the blood will be drawn. Best wishes.
Without a photo, it is not possible to answer this. Even with a photo, chances are an internet advisor would pass on answering this and suggest that the question be directed to your surgeon. I would refrain from heavy exercise for a couple more weeks. All the best.
During breast augmentation revision surgery pocket modification may be required if the implant has descended too far inferiorly, the original pocket was created too large, or if the implant is being down-sized. These types of modifications are usually done with sutures to raise the level of...
