Hi kaibeaulexijetson10 and congratulations on your lipo freezing! While frustrating, it is not uncommon to experience bowl changes following certain cosmetic procedures. The cause for this slow down could be the result of low fluid intake or dietary changes or it could be a medication side effect especially if you are taking any narcotic pain medication. I would encourage you to increase the amount of fiber in your diet and fluid intake as an easy first step towards having a bowl movement; and if you are taking any pain medication I would encourage you to being weaning off of it or simply take Tylenol instead. You may want to consider taking an over the counter stool softener but I would encourage you to call your surgeon's office to discuss. I hope that you find this helpful and I wish you all of the best.
You can have this problem after any procedure, specially with some pain medicine. It will eventually regulate, but if still persist, incorporate more fiber in your diet.Best of luck!
This can be typical after a procedure and should resolve soon. You may also have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. For best results with non-invasive treatments, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, a Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for bodyshaping. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
First of all, congratulations on your lipo freezing, kaibeaulexijetson10!It’s normal to have bowel changes after lipo freezing or any kind of cosmetic procedure. Taking narcotics as pain relievers contributes to constipation as well.Increase your fluid intake and fiber content in your diet to combat constipation. Walk and move around rather than just sitting and lying down. You should also start weaning your pain meds and you may also use over-the-counter stool softeners to help you poo.If all else fails, please visit your primary care physician.Good luck!
First of all, congratulations on your liposuction, CougrGroomr! It’s normal to experience nerve changes - like numbness and hypersensitivity - after liposuction. Usually, it persists for weeks and months. There’s no certain time when it will resolve, but for some people, it subsides within a ye...
Sorry to hear about the seroma. I am glad to hear that it seems to be resolving. In general, I would recommend avoiding strenuous activity until things have completely resolved as shearing of the skin can increase the fluid collection under the skin. I agree with...
Photos would really be helpful here, though they do not substitute for a formal exam in the office. It may be that you have heavy muscles in this area, which may respond to softening with Botox. You may also have a low brow which can be improved with browlifting. Fat excess in this area is not...
