Is additional Lipo & microneedling needed for Facetite? (Photo)

Hello, hope you are well. I have this discussion quite frequently with patients. There are a number of procedures to reduce a double chin, and they are not mutually exclusive. Liposuction alone can generally provide a good result. NeckTite (which includes liposuction in my practice) generally provides a better result. The best result is obtained by undergoing a surgical neck lift because the superficial and deeper structures of the neck--most importantly subplatysmal fat--can be accessed and contoured. There are patient-specific variations on this spectrum of treatments, and I always try to guide the patient to the most suitable option. At your age, the Morpheus treatments are going to be less important than fat removal by liposuction and/or neck lifting procedures because your skin elasticity should be good enough to conform to the new contour of the submental neck. Judging from your photos, it seems that liposuction of the lower face and submental liposuction might be the only procedure you require.

Depending on the degree of skin laxity you may be able to achieve good results from liposuction alone. You could also consider FaceTite with liposuction if laxity is a concern. Patients do sometimes elect to add Morpheus8 treatments after FaceTite to address overall skin tone and texture. You can consider trying one of the options and adding others if necessary based on your results.

First of all, non-invasive treatments are going to be a waste of time for you. You have significant fat deposits located both above and below your platysma muscle in the neck. Liposuction alone can only remove the fat deposits above the muscle. A surgical neck lift is going to be required to remove the fat above the muscle, with liposuction and surgical removal of the fat deposits below the muscle, which also includes a platysma plasty to significantly improve the jawline. Non-invasive treatments cannot do anything for these issues. At age 34, you do not have a skin tone issue
