I hear your concern. Unfortunately in that area of the body, nonsurgical options do not provide a great value. A facelift/necklift type of procedure would probably be the best option. The best recommendations come from an in-person exam, and it may be worthwhile to schedule a consult with a Facial Plastic Surgeon to discuss your goals and options to help you achieve them. Best of luck!
There is a natural tendency to try the less invasive procedures first but the most important advise I can give you is to go with and expert Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that has a big experience in facial surgery and ask for his or her opinion. People for the most part go blindly to have procedures that in many occasions are worthless and spend a lot of money.
Thank you for your question. It is difficult to answer without seeing your photo, both a frontal view and a side view in a neutral position. Typically NeckTite works very well depending on the degree of looseness present and the amount of tightening desired. (NeckTite is the upgraded version of ThermiRF aka ThermiTight and uses bipolar injectable radio frequency energy to tighten the skin.) Some people do not like to look too tight all of a sudden as would be the case with surgery, nor do they want to have the prolonged downtime associated with surgery. However surgery is truly the gold standard. It would be best for you to have an in-person consultation with a Facial Plastic/ Plastic Surgeon who is well versed with both methods to learn all the details of each method and together determine which option would be best for you. There are also several other non-invasive methods to consider as well such as ThermiSmooth and Fractora / Forma. Best of luck in your quest !Sincerely, Dr. Anna Petropoulos Board Certified Facial Plastic SurgeonNorth Shore Boston
It depends on the degree of deformity. I would assume anything described as a turkey neck is a significant amount of looseness. Without photos it’s hard to tell. Any significant amount of looseness is better treated with a facelift.its best to go for a personal consultation.
The concept of that and other non invasive neck tightening procedures is that the machine will create some heat that will shrink the skin. It won't work on any but the most minimal amount of loosening. If you have jowling and sagging you'll probably need surgery. But that actually works! There is no magic way to avoid it, so go for the gold standard.
If you have concerns about jowls and sagging neck and want real results I recommend not wasting your money and time with me minimally invasive devices. Machines that apply energy and heat under the skin result in minimal tightening and improving at best. Before and after photos that show dramatic results are usually not from standardized photos. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to address the jowls and neck line other than a lower facelift. I hope this helps and wish you the best. I recommend that you seek consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Dr. Ardeshirpour
Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. In our office, we use a protocol for scars that minimizes their activity in the 6-8 weeks after surgery. If you have late plastic surgery scars, you may also require laser and...
I think more and more non-surgical options would be recommended for someone with your skin changes. The spectrum of options include microneedling, laser lipo of the neck (if you have a pinch of fat there), radiofrequency treatments, Ultherapy (ultrasound treatments) and only when you hit 60 ye...
Based on the photographs, in my opinion, you could either have liposuction alone or an anterior neck lift through a small incision. I believe you will get a more predictable result and better removal of fat with the necklift. But if you do not want an incision or undergo something invasive,...
