I like my butt. Had surgery 2 months ago. It looks great but I would like extra projection shape enhancement to the butt hips and contour on my torso, I wondered if a second BBL is possible without removing a dangerous amount from my body for fat grafting?
Answer: Revision of BBL You probably have additional fat that can be harvested. The areas on the abdomen can be smoothed out as well if warranted.

Answer: BBL results Dear darling111,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: 2nd BBL You are just 2 months out from your surgery and still very swollen. I tell my patients that it takes up to 6 months for all the swelling to resolve. It is hard to tell if you have any more fat to be transferred at this point. Be sure to speak to your board certified plastic surgeon with you concerns. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Can I get a secondary BBL? A 2nd BBL is safe and definitely an option if you are wanting more projection to the hips. Find a board certified PS in your area that does a lot of this type of surgery as you want to get the desired results this time if feasible.

Answer: BBL candidate Hello and thank you for the photo and question. You can always go back to add more fat. However, at two months, you are in the midst of the early part of healing. New scar tissue, inflammation, swelling are all going on inside you. Attempting to do more surgery now, might be risky with more bleeding / complications as well as damaging the fat that was already transferred. The areas of liposuction are typically very dense right now with scar tissue making lipo unsuccessful. I would agree with the other doctors on this panel to wait and reassess in 6 months once you have had time to heal. Also, make sure you are following postop instructions to have the best outcome. limited or no sitting time, sleep on your stomach, eat healthy, no smoking ( if you do). Best to you. @bennettyangMD
