Numbness more than a year after neck lift

I had a face & neck lift about 16 months ago and am still experiencing numbness where my neck meets my jaw. It is better than right after the procedure but still very uncomfortable. Is this still within normal expectations or am I stuck with this issue?

From these photos, it appears your vertical lines are being caused by platysmal banding. You could try aggressive botox to these to see if that helps relax the area, but most likely you will need a revision type surgery, if only in the center of the neck, to release those bands and bring them in...

I would recommend a secondary facelift/necklift. This can be corrected. I would wait until at least 6 months of healing before returning to the OR.
