Am I a candidate for cheek liposuction to treat PMMA complications? If not, what else could I do? (Photos)
Hi, I am considering facial liposuction on my cheeks to hopefully treat ongoing irritation and inflammation I am experiencing following Bellafill filler. I know cheek liposuction is relatively uncommon, but could this help? It would be worth the risks of nerve injury to me if some of this product could be removed. For the liposuction, I imagine the fibrosis would need to be broken up first, but then I'm hoping some of this fibrotic tissue could be removed in a way that would be similar to cheek liposuction. Could this work? Or would traditional surgical removal with a facelift approach be better? I do not have any nodules. The PMMA is dispersed, but I am experiencing chronic inflammation. I am including a picture with the zone I am concerned about circled. My face feels like it is on fire and I am also quite disturbed by the aesthetic changes in my appearance. Thank you for reading and I would be really thankful for any help with this!
