Delivering consistent quality, liposuction, results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons have mastered this procedure on a small minority. First-hand experience with Renuvion has taught me that the device does little to improve Liposuction by itself. To make a quality assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before, and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Correcting poorly done Liposuction is difficult and often not possible. Attempts at improving results are usually done with revision Liposuction(removing more fat) fat transfer, or a combination of both. Occasionally, results may be improved by converting the procedure to a skin tightening operation, such as a thigh lift. Converting to a skin tightening procedure is sometimes appropriate. If the patient was a candidate for skin tightening surgery in the first place, or if the problem can be directly exercised such as a poor liposuction outcome on the lower abdomen for someone who could benefit from a tummy tuck. In your case, the problem is low on your thigh, and this is not where the skin is excised during a typical thigh lift. There are no easy solutions for your problem. I encourage all individuals considering Liposuction to recognize the importance of provider selection and getting a clear understanding regarding your candidacy before scheduling surgery. I suggest patients to do that they having multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons, who seem like they have a lot of experience with Liposuction it to start with. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients, who had similar body characteristics to your own. An experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients for the particular procedure or area you’re looking to have treated. Lower extremity liposuction is technically difficult and quality results are not all that common. The area is prone to contour irregularities, especially when done by providers will have insufficient skill experience. Being board-certified in a plastic surgery with years of experience, and an overall good reputation does not mean somebody has mastered any one particular procedure especially not Liposuction.
