Would you recommend Cheek Implants? Flat, non masculine face. Young male.

Question

I do not have a very strong bone structure but I do believe I have a lot of potential to become much better looking with facial implants for a stronger bone structure. Would you agree and recommend cheek implants? Any other recommendations? Upon inserting cheek implants, is it possible that with the implants in it could pull the skin around your eyes outward, I would like this side effect because when I pull on the skin around my cheek area it tightens my eyes too and gives a good look.

Implants and/or fat can be used to augment the cheekbones, however the results can sometimes be unpredictable. Well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra can all be used to create visible cheekbones. yes, cheek implants will give your face better balance. They will not tighten the skin on your eyelid however. See a very experienced surgeon for this.

Cheek implants are placed for patients who have flat maxilla and a flat cheek profile and desire a permanent augmentation to the cheeks. Placement of cheek implants will not affect the eyelids. Cheek implants are placed directly over the maxillary bone through an intraoral approach under general anesthesia. The implants can also be custom carved when necessary to meet patients unique anatomy.  In our practice, we have used Implantech silastic cheek and plans for over 25 years. Cheek augmentation will improve facial contours and definition. You have multiple choices to accomplish these goals including injections of your own fat, long acting fillers such as Voluma or Restylane Lyft, or the placement of cheek implants. There are advantages and disadvantages of each so consult with a surgeon who uses all these techniques
