I got radiesse injections today to create a more defined bridge and I'm not sure if I'm completely happy with the results. Since I wasn't able to have any injections at the tip of my nose due to vascular occlusion to the blood vessels, I ended up with a somewhat vertical nose and quite frankly, I feel like an avatar. Is it normal for my nose to look crooked/jelly-like post-injection? The PA that did the injections did overfill more than she normally would since I'm moving within two weeks.
Answer: Radiesse to correct nose Because there us not much muscle movement in the nose, fillers in this area can easily last a year or more. Thereisnot much swelling with Radiesse, but if you are not happy with the appearance in a week ot two you may not be happy in six months either.injecting fillers in the nose is definitely an advanced technique with potentially serious side effects and in my opinion should be performed by a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon with extensive filler experience,

CONTACT NOW Answer: Unwanted volume from radiesse can be defused Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of excellence for filler complication treatments and we see patients who have been treated by other doctors and have undesirable results from Radiesse or other long-lasting fillers. We have treatment options available for Radiesse filler nodules, granulomas, and soft tissue thickening. The first step would be to diagnose the nodularity and determine whether there is an option for surgical vs. non-surgical removal. Surgical excision is a possibility in some patients; whereas others with more diffuse fillers may benefit from intralesional therapy using scar modulators and enzymes and kenalog. Radiesse complications may be long-lasting and prompt action is key. Patients who have no access to an expert in the field should begin gentle massage of the areas of nodularity with Plato’s Scar Serum twice daily. RF and invasive lasers can actually do more damage by stimulating further collagen growth. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Radiesse for Nose Correction First, and most important, the way that you look right after a filler injection is much different than what it will look like in a few weeks. So hang in there. Swelling occurs after injections - especially in a tight area like the nose. And, there can be bruising as well. So asymetry and "looking crooked" may improve a lot over the next 2-3 weeks. Having said that, nose injections should be done by an expert injector. They are hard to do and take a lot of experience. There is the risk of injecting into an artery - especially if the patient has had previous surgery or trauma to the nose. Always tell your injector if this is your case. The tip of the nose can be injected into. The injections need to be low low volume, and slow. Radiesse is my filler of preference for the nose. It is hard to see the changes from your before and after photos (don't worry, even expert photographers have a hard time getting good before/after images). So, I would recommend that you give it some time and call back your PA if you are still concerned in 2-3 weeks. The good (and the bad) of non-surgical nose jobs, is that the changes won't last forever.

Answer: Radiesse and Nose With Radiesse you pretty much get what you see. If you are concerned with the look, I suggest you see the PA back or get a second opinion from an expert nasal injector, dermatologist or plastic surgeon. In this area, the filler can last a significant amount of time and Radiesse is semipermanent and cannot be reversed. If you are worried, sooner rather than later would be my mantra. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Assessing Radiesse Results You will need a couple of weeks before you can properly assess the results. However, if you are not happy with the results after 3 weeks then it is unlikely that you will be happier later. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is an advanced treatment and it is best performed by an experienced and expert physician injector.
