I have had a headache which seems to be getting worse above my eyebrows since I got radiesse injections two days ago. Could it be from the injections? What should I do about it? Should I go to a doctor? I have had the injections one other time with no side effects.
Answer: HEADACHES FROM RADIESSE MOST OF THE TIME YOU DO NOT GET HEADACHES FROM RADIESSE, BUT YOU CAN EXPERIENCE A SLIGHT ONE BUT SHOULD GO AWAY AND DEPENDING ON WHERE THE RADIESSE WAS INJECTED. IF THIS CONTINUES I WOULD DEFINATELY CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN

Answer: Radiesse And Headaches The filler itself should not cause headaches. If you have any type of pain post filler injection, you should go back to your physician sooner than later to ensure there is nothing wrong. If he hit the bone with his injections, you may be feeling residual pain from that. But a severe headache should be evaluated. I wish you the best of luck, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Headache after #Radiesse Headache can occur rarely after Radiesse if it is injected in the brow, but this would not be a usual area for this filler to be injected. You might want to see your PCP if the headache is severe and/or unusual for you.

Answer: #Radiesse - Can Radiesse cause headaches? Anything is possible but headaches are not typical or usual after Radiesse injections, at least in my experience. Temporary headaches can occur from bruising or swelling in the regions of the injections, and the resultant impact on the muscles could cause pain. But it should go away fairly quickly, and if there is any question of persistence or, certainly, worsening, or just to be cautious, you should contact your physician (plastic surgeon or internist) to touch base and see if he or she has other recommendations for you at this time.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of RealSelf100

Answer: Headache after Radiesse Some people will get headaches after injectables but it is usually from the "stress" they perceive, and not the actual injections or item injected. You should see your injector if this persists, but most commonly, it's just from stress or tension about having the procedure done.
