fat grafting to breasts is a great procedure for the right person.utilizing your own fat allows you to increase cup size and sculpt the rest of your body in areas you would choose to lose.the main difference is that fat survival varies and it may require more than one procedure to achieve your goals. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.best of luck!Dr Schwartz
Hello, and thank you for this question. Yes fat can be an excellent choice for the right patients. I would recommend a detailed consultation, physical examination with a qualified board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss all of your options. It may be difficult to harvest fat if your extremely thin.
Fat is an excellent filler for deflated tissues. It is soft, permanent, and natural. The only downside is the amount of augmentation you can expect. Generally, it is only a modest change with a 1/2 to 1 full cup size increase in size. If this is what you're looking for, then it may be a great option for you.
Thank you for your question. Breast augmentation using Autologous or your own fat is a particularly good option for patients who do not want a dramatic increase in volume. You can expect generally to have a one cup size increase permanently after the procedure.
I don't think that fat transfer is as reliable as breast implants for augmentation. I prefer breast implants for a more reliable and cost-effective breast augmentation method.
Short answer is yes! You are an excellent candidate assuming you are in good health and you have sufficient donor fat. You also hit it on the head by "not looking for dramatic enhancement." This is a subtle and natural procedure using your own fat. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to assess your needs and provide true medical advice. Best of luck. Fat can be transferred to fill out loose skin of the breasts, implants are also utilized to help fill out loose breast skin. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic breast surgery to obtain the best possible results, and help you decide which method is best for you.Good Luck!
is an option and you should find a surgeon locally who can provide that for you. There are many ways to process fat and you should make sure that your surgeon's technique is up to date. You can always ask on this site about what the best way to process fat is... and you will get so many different answers but some will stand out more than the others.
Thanks for your photos. I wish I could share them with the lactation nurse who told me years ago, as a new mother, that breast feeling does not make breasts deflate! Ha! Anyway, back to you. I think you would need at least two sessions of fat transfer to get a nice result. If you have some excess fat on your hips or thighs or tummy, it would likely be worth your while and expense. The big advantage of fat grafting is that there is no implant that needs to be replaced every 15 - 20 years. Also, there is no chance of implant related complications.
If you have enough fat for transfer to the breasts, you could potentially achieve a modest amount of volume restoration with fat transfer. An exam is the best way to determine if this type of surgery would be a possibility for you. Thank you for sharing your question and photo. Best wishes.
Brava devices work well to prepare breasts for fat grafting..especially in someone who has tight skin. With explantation surgery it sounds as if you had some laxity created. When things go well the retention of volume post-fat grafting approximates 60-70%. I think by the time...
No, fat transfer alone will not lift up the nipple position.I would recommend some form of breast lift/mastopexy procedure.
Hi, thanks for your questions. Typically, approximately 70% of the fat that is transferred is retained long-term. You are correct that it is frequently the case that patients undergoing fat transfer require more than one procedure to achieve their goal. If you have very lax skin then it may be...
