Screw in chin hurts

Question

I have had many facial surgeries in my life. I was born without a jaw bone on the left side of my face. I had my last surgery when I was around 16yrs. It was I believe fat graph and cheek and chin implant. Well just recently I feel like I feel a screw or something very hard on my chin. And it hurts to the touch and it's hurting even more as time goes on. If I talk too much it will start to get sore in that spot. I really believe it's one of the screws and it hurts. Any ideas????

Either follow up with your last surgeon or have an in person consultation with another cranial facial surgeon. Preferably somebody who works with more complex pediatric craniofacial cases.

You may find these type of providers at academic medical centers for example but they are also in the community.

They can make an evaluation and review potential treatment options.
A little hard to make an assessment based on just reading your post.

Doctors who do complex craniofacial surgery tend to either have an oral surgery or dental background or medical background with craniofacial fellowship training and sometimes both.
