Hi, I‘m 25, F and Middle Eastern. I‘ve had braces as a kid but my docs didn‘t fix my overbite so now I‘m struggling with a recessed jaw. I‘m having some medical problems with it, such as trouble closing my mouth, tending to mouth breath and getting headaches due to the strain of closing my mouth. Also self conciousness about my chin and jaw. My docs said they don‘t see surgery because my back teeth perfectly align. Should I get surgery?
